MANOR, ELGIN, HUTTO, TAYLOR,
OAK HILL, DRIPPING SPRINGS, BUDA, LIBERTY HILL, AND
OTHER SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES
All of these are rural communities that
have a flavor and lifestyle all their very own. They
have sprawling ranches and family farms. Cattle are
raised, cotton is grown and vegetables are sold at the
farmer's Market. There are flatlands of largely
cultivated areas, as well as other areas with rugged oak
or cedar-covered rolling hills. Many residents work in
Austin and choose a short commute of 20-40 minutes to
these quiet bedroom communities. With the charm of the
past unique to them, they are very much a part of the
modern-day Texas lifestyle. |
